Piercing Aftercare Guide:

dont's

Avoid sleeping on your piercing, hun!

Sleeping on a fresh piercing (ear piercing/s) is common cause of healing problems because you put pressure and friction on the piercing, which can cause all kinds of complications such as irritation, pain, extra swelling, and bumps.

Do NOT touch your piercing!

Don't touch your piercing (or even scratch pierced area) unless you're cleaning it with recently washed hands— you may accidentally introduce bacteria and cause an infection. Make sure to keep clothing away that can pull your piercing jewelry.
Remember: too much rubbing or friction can irritate your skin and delay healing.

Avoid strong chemicals on your fresh piercing.

Avoid cleaning your piercing wound with alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, soaps, iodine, or any products that contains harsh chemicals and/or using any ointments as they could injure the pierced skin and prevent necessary air circulation.
Avoid using any products around the piercing wound to avoid any infections or reactions, products includes; make-ups as these can damage cells.
